Many times in life, because of the circumstance and the storms, we think, speak and behave like the disciples in the boat. Don’t we?
The LORD is with us in the boat, there are no doubts about it. Yet our eyes, instead of being on the LORD, who is with us, are on the storm, that is raging outside. Isn’t it so?
No wonder, the LORD had called His disciples, “O ye of little faith” – Matthew 8:26. How true of us too! It is something, which we as the LORD’s disciples, are unable to shake it off. We, somehow seem to gravitate towards doubt and unbelief, as and when the storms hit us. Is this not true, many times?
Let us see, what those who have walked ahead of us, have to say about the LORD God Almighty, our Saviour and Master.
– Lamentations 5:19 – “19 You, O LORD, remain forever; Your throne from generation to generation.”
– Habakkuk 1:12 – “12 Are You not from everlasting, O LORD my God, my Holy One?”
– Psalms 9:7 – “7 But the LORD shall endure forever;”
– Psalms 45:6 – “6 Your throne, O God, is forever and ever; A sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of Your kingdom.”
Therefore, let us keep our eyes on our LORD, and walk the storms and the struggles, by faith. The LORD is “Faithful” and He will, as He had promised, will keep and guide us. HalleluYah!
"And those who know your name put their trust in you, for you, O LORD, have not forsaken those who seek you."
