ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS

The old English proverb says that “Actions speak louder than words.” How true it is. Our words communicate our thoughts to others. However, our actions – the things that we do – speak not only much louder than our words, but communicate the intent of our hearts very clearly.

The Bible has this to say about our actions  in Proverbs 20:11 – “11 Even a child is known by his deeds, Whether what he does is pure and right.” What clarity of thought the Word of God gives!

So, as the children of God, let us be careful both with our words, and our actions. Let us reflect the LORD, whom we represent here on the earth, as His ambassadors, that our Redeemer be lifted up and glorified, in and through us.
