“Why Give Thanks?” is a question that we need to keep on asking ourselves…as often as possible. The reason for such a question is because, firstly, to remind ourselves that we ought to give thanks to the LORD always, and to everyone else who helps us.
Secondly, because we have a heart that is wicked, and forgets the help and we receive, and the helper who helped, all too often.
Thirdly, is to cultivate and nurture this precious and priceless virtue of gratitude. It keep us “firmly on the ground,” and stops us from “flying in the air.”
“1 Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.
4 Let those who fear the LORD now say, “His mercy endures forever.” – Psalms 118:1, 4
"It is only with gratitude that life becomes rich!"
