Human relationships are delicate and fragile. They can be broken. Some can be broken quite easily. While some others may take some time. However, the fact remains, all human relationships have the possibility to break.
Breakdown of any relationship does not happen overnight. It takes mistakes, both unintentional, and, or, intentional, over a period of time, which are ignored, and not addressed in time and properly. The unresolved issues are bound to have their impact on what happens in a relationship. Whoever is the problem, whatever the circumstances, if the problems are not addressed HONESTLY, SINCERELY, TRUTHFULLY and TRANSPARENTLY, they will end up in failure, and in no time, the relationship will breakdown.
Not all relationships that are broken, have the opportunity to be reconciled and restored. Lucifer broke his relationship with his Creator, his God and his LORD. Lucifer had no intention to accept his fault, nor repent of it, and thereby, to reconcile and restore, the broken relationship. Most of the times, our pride and ego, which wear as the mask of self-respect and dignity, makes it impossible for a broken relationship to be reconciled.
May we be warned, to know the facts, and be quick to apologise, and quicker still, to reconcile. Reconciliation and restoration happen, only when we are HUMBLE, SINCERE, TRUTHFUL and TRANSPARENT, to Repent of our mistakes, errors and sins, and Confess the same, even before the other person asks for it. May the LORD help us.
"Forgiving and being reconciled to our enemies or our loved ones are not about pretending that things are other than they are. It is not about patting one another on the back and turning a blind eye to the wrong. True reconciliation exposes the awfulness, the abuse, the hurt, the truth. It could even sometimes make things worse. It is a risky undertaking but in the end it is worthwhile, because in the end only an honest confrontation with reality can bring real healing. Superficial reconciliation can bring only superficial healing."
