Compassion is one of those qualities which are godly in nature, and is not human. It is not just feeling sorry about someone, or simply pitying someone’s plight. It is something which moves a person deeply by the suffering of someone, and makes him/her to do something about it. The ‘Good Samaritan’ is the best example.
It is a precious and priceless quality. Nurture it well if you have it. Seek it if you don’t. Remember it is godly quality, that doesn’t come by easily to us.
