Forgiveness of our sins was the ONLY way out between God and us. He chose to walk the path of forgiveness, the fruits of which we are enjoying.
The same God who forgave us of our sins, commands us to forgive others of their sins.
‘For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.’ [Mat 6:1]
Please note the command is clear…there are no ifs and buts. Just do it, as did our LORD.
‘Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful. Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven…’ [Luke 6:36-37]
Remember forgiveness releases us from the bondage of hate. Break free, and live free.
