Love of God is a fact, and not a feeling. Feelings come and go…that is the nature of feelings.
Love of God is for sure, and a certainty. It doesn’t change with the mood and the weather. It is the same yesterday, today and forever, just like Him.
Love of God is based on unconditional love for the other…the Agape Love. Small wonder that we have a Christmas and a Cross. They are to let us know that the love of the Creator has compelled Him to be born as a ‘creature,’ and to die for them on the cross. What else can we call it other than Agape Love?
Lean on the LORD who gave His everything, and His very self to redeem us.
