BEWARE THE RIGHTEOUS AND JUST LORD – HE COUNTS EVERYTHING

The heart, says the LORD in His written Word, is “DECEITFUL ABOVE ALL THINGS” and “DESPERATELY WICKED” – what a description isn’t it? This is what the LORD our Creator says about our hearts – yes, MY HEART and YOUR HEART. Who can know it? 
– “9 “The heart is deceitful above all things, And desperately wicked; Who can know it?” – Jeremiah 17:9

The LORD says something very important, in the very next verse, Jeremiah 17:10, which we all should be always reading, ever remembering and never forgetting.
– “10 I, the LORD, search the heart, I test the mind, Even to give every man according to his ways, According to the fruit of his doings.” – Jeremiah 17:10

The LORD is speaking plainly and clearly that…
– “I, the LORD, search the heart”
– “I test the mind”
– “Even to give every man according to his ways”
– “According to the fruit of his doings”
The LORD searches our hearts. He tests our minds. He gives every man according to the choice of our ways. He rewards us according to the fruit of our doings.

The LORD will judge each of us, and will reward us according to all our choices and our doings. Nothing will ever escape His gaze. The LORD may choose not to respond at that very moment. Just because He doesn’t, let not man think that God doesn’t know. Let man not assume that God doesn’t care. Remember there is a time, a season and a purpose for everything under the sun…
– “​1 To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven:” – Ecclesiastes 3:1

What thoughts are running in our hearts? Are we thinking we can hoodwink God by pretending we are all good and righteous children of God? Do we think that we are helpless in a situation, and therefore we are walking the wrong path? Do we justify our evil thoughts, words and deeds, as desperate acts in desperate situations? Some are killing innocent children because it is believed that when these children grow big, they will become their enemies, and will kill them – therefore, kill them all now. The Church and many Christians are blindly cheering such mass murder, because they justify it by quoting “AMALEK” from the Holy Bible. How silly of us if we are thinking on these lines. How sorry it is to see such naked depravity being paraded as righteous and godly thinking and conduct. 
– “9 “As for you, my son Solomon, know the God of your father, and serve Him with a loyal heart and with a willing mind; for the LORD searches all hearts and understands all the intent of the thoughts. If you seek Him, He will be found by you; but if you forsake Him, He will cast you off forever.” – 1 Chronicles 28:9
– “7 But the LORD said to Samuel, “Do not look at his appearance or at his physical stature, because I have refused him. For the LORD does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.” – 1 Samuel 16:7

What have we become dear brothers and sisters? Is this not what the LORD was speaking to us through His prophet Jeremiah in Jeremiah 17:9-10. BEWARE THE RIGHTEOUS AND JUST LORD – HE COUNTS EVERYTHING – our DESIRES and the LONGINGS OF OUR HEARTS – every tiny little thing is counted and accounted for by the LORD God of the Bible.
– “12 If you say, “Surely we did not know this,” Does not He who weighs the hearts consider it? He who keeps your soul, does He not know it? And will He not render to each man according to his deeds?” – Proverbs 24:12

When the LORD comes to judge the quick and the dead, may He find us standing firmly on His side. Even so, the LORD help us.
