Monday mornings can be differently viewed by different people. Generally, most people have a relaxed and refreshing time during the weekend. When we wake up on Monday morning, many works may be shouting at the top of their voices for our attention. For some, Monday can be overwhelming. For others, Monday can be excruciating. For some others, Monday could be exhilarating. What is it for you, dear brothers and sisters?
As Christians and the disciples of the LORD Jesus…
– We can walk into the week in the confidence that, the LORD Jesus is walking right beside us.
– We can walk into the week in the confidence that, the LORD Jesus will help us.
– We can walk into the week in the confidence that, the LORD Jesus has already given us all the required talents and abilities, for the work on our hands.
– We can walk into the week in the confidence that, the LORD Jesus would graciously provide for any lack in our skill and our ability.
Dear brothers and sisters, as we begin another Monday, and are WALKING INTO THE WORLD AND WORK why be tensed or worried about anything, when the LORD Jesus is with us? The LORD will take care of everything, and will guide us through any and every situation – be it the beautiful sunshine, or the worst storm.
– “1 But now, thus says the LORD, who created you, O Jacob, And He who formed you, O Israel: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; You are Mine. 2 When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you. 3 For I am the LORD your God, The Holy One of Israel, your Saviour…” – Isaiah 43:1-3a
Let us therefore place our trust in the LORD Jesus, and leave all what may be troubling us at His feet, and leave it there for the LORD Jesus to do what is necessary. We need not worry, because the LORD will take care of it, and in His time He will set all things right. Even so, the LORD help us.
"Knowing that we belong to the LORD is a wonderful answer to fear. We can know that He holds us, protects us, guards us, and cares for us. We can know that He would not have created, redeemed, and called us unless He intended to finish His work in us. How can we be afraid when we know this God is for us, is looking out for our interests?"
