Today is 1st November 2022, and the weather is pleasantly ‘cold’ here. However, the hearts are ‘warm,’ and getting warmer as the days go by. The weather will surely get colder, as the days go by, but the hearts will get warmer too. How is that possible?
Cold weather reminds us of the season we are in…the season of Christmas. Christmas reminds us of our Saviour, who was born 2000 plus years ago, to “seek and save that which was lost.” – Luke 19:10.
It is the Saviour who warms our hearts! He came to rescue me from my sin, and it’s consequences. He came to restore me to the image, that God originally intended, when He created us. He came to help me live for Him. He came to use me as His witness, and His ambassador…for His glory, and for the extension of His kingdom.
As the season of celebration approaches, let us, with a thankful heart, praise God for His goodness, grace and mercy, which ushered in love, joy and peace into the hearts that surrenders itself to the Redeemer. Have you surrendered your heart to the Saviour?
Have a wonderful and blessed season!!!
"Who can add to Christmas? The perfect motive is that God so loved the world. The perfect gift is that He gave His only Son. The only requirement is to believe in Him. The reward of faith is that you shall have everlasting life."
