I MUST WORK

Work is a very important aspect of a human life. Many times, we call it as our purpose in life. In other words, this is the reason for my existence. The realisation of our purpose in life, gives us meaning to our existence, and reason to carry forward with life.

The LORD Jesus Christ said this, about Himself, and His purpose in life – “4 I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day; the night is coming when no one can work.” – John 9:4. Jesus further said this, “34…“My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and to finish His work.” – John 4:34

Now, how about us? What does the Word of God say about us, and the purpose for our redemption from sin and destruction? “9 But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, THAT YOU MAY PROCLAIM THE PRAISES OF HIM WHO CALLED YOU OUT OF DARKNESS INTO HIS MARVELOUS LIGHT;” – 1 Peter 2:9.
