March 17, 2022Love is such a powerful tool. It is more powerful than anything the world has ever seen, and will ever see. It is stronger than the strongest of materials. Love is the ‘all conquering weapon’ against which nothing can stand. It is obvious.
Love may appear weak and helpless. It may appear worthless and powerless. It may be despised and disliked because of its approach and attitude. However, nothing can disarm and ‘defeat’ like love. It is true.
It require more courage and strength to turn the other cheek in the face of opposition. It requires tremendous amount of power to be non-violent in the face of violent and cruel people. Nay, such an attitude is anything but cowardice and weakness. It requires guts to stand for Christ. It surely does.
Christian faith and walk is not for cowards and weaklings, who presume that being strong is to hit back with more force than we are hit with. It doesn’t require much strength to become violent. For violence is the weapon of the weak. But it takes great strength and courage to stand for love, as prescribed and practiced by the LORD Himself. Check out the Word of God.
The LORD Jesus, showed us the way. He calls us to walk on it, just as He did. There are no two opinions about it. Please read the Sermon on the Mount. It is love, forgiveness and compassion that lead the way of the Christ-like walk. The principles on which kingdom people walk, talk and conduct all the affairs of their lives.
