“What we sow, is that we reap” is a proverb or saying in the world. The simple truth being, what we make effort to do, is what we will get back in return. The Bible says the same in Galatians 6:7 – “7…for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.”
If we as Christians, make effort to sow to 1-WORK HARD 2-DO GOOD and 3-BE AWAY FROM BAD then we will reap three things.
1- We will be ‘Blessed’ – Personally
2- Our Family will be ‘Blessed’
3- Our Surroundings will be ‘Blessed’
Deuteronomy 4:40 – “40 You shall therefore keep His statutes and His commandments which I command you today, that it may go well with you and with your children after you, and that you may prolong your days in the land which the LORD your God is giving you for all time.”
Deuteronomy 32:46 – “46 and he said to them: “Set your hearts on all the words which I testify among you today, which you shall command your children to be careful to observe—all the words of this law. 47 For it is not a futile thing for you, because it is your life, and by this word you shall prolong your days in the land which you cross over the Jordan to possess.”
We do not run after the blessing, but after the LORD our God, in following Him, in obeying Him and doing whatever He asks of us. Let us seek Him to help us live the way He wants us to live. Even so, the LORD help us.
"God's commands are designed to guide you to life's very best. You will not obey Him, if you do not believe Him and trust Him. You cannot believe Him if you do not love Him. You cannot love Him unless you know Him."
