“ALL” INCLUDING “ME”

The human society, world over, is fast deteriorating and is crumbling down. The walls that were holding life together, are being pulled down by man himself. This is the biggest tragedy being played out, and man is the active participant in it.

The Bible describes the human condition as ‘fallen.’ All have fallen short of the glory of God…this means “ALL” – there are no exceptions – Romans 3:23. The Cambridge dictionary defines “ALL” this way – “every member or individual component of…” – there are no exceptions.

The evidence for the fallenness of human beings is everywhere – especially the heart of man. The Word of God describes the condition of human heart as – “9 “The heart is deceitful above all things, And desperately wicked; Who can know it?” “5 Then the LORD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.” – Jeremiah 17:9, Genesis 6:5. This assessment includes “ME.”

The only remedy available to man is the LORD Jesus Christ – “5 But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed. 6 All we like sheep have gone astray; We have turned, every one, to his own way; And the LORD has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.” – Isaiah 53:5-6

The remedy for the wickedness of our hearts is only with the LORD Jesus Christ. Therefore, Let us seek the LORD for our FORGIVENESS. Let us seek the LORD that He would WASH us clean. Let us seek the LORD that he would TRANSFORM our hearts.  Let us seek the LORD to HELP us live for Him. For it is the LORD, who alone can change our hearts.
