When two individuals come together to work on something, they need not necessarily be working together in unity and harmony. Just by being together doesn’t bring unity, harmony and productivity. It is true.
Working together requires an intentional decision, where working together takes precedence over the personal differences, and the problems if any. When such principle takes the prime position in the decision making process, *the differences that will arise in the process, will be thrashed out in a way, which will keep the unity, harmony and the productivity of the relationship, and getting the things done peacefully.* This is true.
The Word of God speaks with clarity in this matter – “10 Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.” – 1 Corinthians 1:10
“5 Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus: 6 That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.” – Romans 15:5-6
“8 Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous:” – 1 Peter 3:8
There is strength, harmony and unity when we “decide to work together” as one. This is true. Therefore, let us seek the LORD for oneness of heart and mind. This is a must.
"I have never yet known the Spirit of God to work where the Lord's people were divided."
