3:3 PRINCIPLE – iv @ “BE AWAY FROM BAD”

Keeping ourselves from wrong and bad things is absolutely important. The LORD has enlightened us, and has empowered us. Therefore, we should consciously and intentionally keep ourselves away from all that is wrong and bad.

The Word of God speaks quite clearly, for our edification, on, “ALWAYS BE AWAY FROM BAD.”  Here is something that I have learnt over these years, on this subject. Hope it will be of use, especially to some young person. 

Matthew 5:44-45 – “44 But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, 45 that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.”

Psalms 37:1-40 – “Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity.”

1 Peter 3:9 – “9 [we must] not [be] returning evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary blessing, knowing that you were called to this, that you may inherit a blessing.”

Romans 12:17-18,21 – “17 Repay no one evil for evil. Have regard for good things in the sight of all men. 18 If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men…21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.”

1 Thessalonians 5:15,22 – “15 See that no one renders evil for evil to anyone, but always pursue what is good both for yourselves and for all…22 Abstain from every form of evil.”

Proverbs 8:13 – “13 The fear of the LORD is to hate evil; Pride and arrogance and the evil way And the perverse mouth I hate.”

Let us walk the “Narrow Way” the way of the LORD, the path of righteousness, no matter the cost. Not easy, but worth it. The LORD, who stands with us will help us live for Him, as His Ambassadors. Let us Always Be Away from Bad, Wicked and Sinful path.
