Many a conclusion, these days, is arrived at, with only half the set of facts on table. The counter argument is not given any credence, not even considered as a valid view – right or wrong apart.
Such an approach to find the truth, is deeply flawed, and terribly biased. It is so, most of the times than not, because, there sure is, an agenda to pursue, and a narrative to push. The whole idea is based on preconceived notions, and predetermined opinions. The agenda is set, and to take forth the agenda, and the narrative is pushed. Sadly, this has become the accepted norm, and nobody bothers to gather the facts, study them diligently, and find out the truth.
Let us pause, think, analyse, and then arrive at the conclusion. Let us not rush and jump to conclusions. Truth is precious and it needs to be pursued passionately, but with our feet firmly on the ground. Let us be the seekers of truth.
"Yet, being loud doesn’t increase the value or validity of their opinion. In fact, often by the very nature of being the loudest, those opinions are typically the furthest from reality."
