King David declares in Psalms 19:1 that – “1 The heavens declare the glory of God; And the firmament shows His handiwork.” It speaks of his understanding about God, and his perception of who man is, in particular, who he himself is, and his standing in all of God’s creation.
– Astronomers estimate there are about 100 thousand million stars in the Milky Way alone.

Man can’t even fathom the depth of the universe that we are part of. No wonder David says, “3 When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers,

And the son of man that You visit him? – Psalms 8:3-4
Our place in the universe should make us realise, that we are just “nothing” compared to what is out there. It is therapeutic to get an idea of our actual standing, in all that is ever created. May it spur us to stand in awe of God, and not be consumed about ourselves, our needs, our wants and all things ourselves. So help us LORD.
"The greatness of the man's power is the measure of his surrender."
