“Pride comes before the fall,” is a proverb I heard as a child.
When we realise the abilities of humans, and our inclination towards sin and rebellious in-dependent spirit, Pride and Arrogance are the next logical steps. It pays well to remember that Lucifer fell because of pride and jealousy. Pride in his abilities, and Jealous of God’s glory resulted in his fall.
Beware this sin, it creeps in unawares.
All glory RIGHTFULLY belongs to God and God alone.
