Cares of our world will press and pressurise us to be anxious and concerned, as to how it would all work out. The Christian is encouraged to respond, the exact opposite. We are instructed not to be anxious, but rather seek the LORD, who is the source of all our needs.
Paul, a man who has seen it all, writes to the disciples at Philippi – “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.” – Philippians 4:6
Whatever is troubling us this day, we are encouraged to take it to the LORD in prayer. Would we care to do that? Will we be willing to leave our cares and concerns, at the feet of our Redeemer? There is nothing better than that. The LORD who chose to does for us, is the only One who truly cares, and the only One who can truly help us. Therefore, let us seek Him.
"Time spent in prayer is never wasted."
