Many times, we as Christians wonder, if there will ever be a calling into account of the evil and the evil people in the world. David felt the same, “3 LORD, how long shall the wicked, how long shall the wicked triumph?…5 They break in pieces thy people, O LORD, and afflict thine heritage.” – Psalms 94:3-5
Job says the same in Job 21:7-9 – “7 Why do the wicked live and become old, Yes, become mighty in power? 8 Their descendants are established with them in their sight, And their offspring before their eyes. 9 Their houses are safe from fear, Neither is the rod of God upon them.”
However, the story doesn’t end with that. David finds the answer to his questions in Psalms 73:3,12,16,17…
“3 For I was envious at the foolish, when I saw the prosperity of the wicked…12 Behold, these are the ungodly, who prosper in the world; they increase in riches…16 When I thought to know this, it was too painful for me; 17 Until I went into the sanctuary of God; then understood I their end.”
The Apostle John, writing in Revelation 22:20 talks about the *”Day of Reckoning”* – “20 He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.” The LORD Jesus will come, and He will judge everything and everyone. Therefore, let us hold on patiently to our Redeemer [Hebrews 12;1-2] and continue to live as He asked us to, and do all that He commanded us.
"The wicked who do evil and are full of iniquity will soon meet their demise in hell if they don’t repent and turn to the Lord Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of their sins."
