Songs are generally an indication of a happy and joyful heart. There are some songs, which are about sadness, pain and agony too. In any which case, songs are a great way to express all that is in our hearts. Most importantly, songs of praise and worship, play such a significant role in a Christian’s life and so also, in the community gatherings at the Church services.

– The Word of God records this about Paul and Sylas – “25 But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them.” – Acts 16:25
Who can forget the classic hymn, “O LORD my God” and how it inspires all who sing it, to praise and worship God? “Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee,
How great Thou art, How great Thou art.
Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee,
How great Thou art, How great Thou art! “
