Pain, struggles, suffering and storms make us the persons we are. We either get destroyed by them, or they help us turn into beautiful people. The way we approach all our Pain, Struggles, Sufferings and Storms will determine where we end up.
Paul has some very profound and insightful words to enlighten us on this point – “3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, 4 who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. 5 For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also abounds through Christ.” – 2 Corinthians 1:3-5.
When we learn to lean upon the LORD, and learn from Him, to trust and obey, we will see things change in our lives. We will also see, how these very problems, that have troubled us, would help us turn them into something beautiful. Nothing changed, except the way we see. This is precisely what Paul is urging us to see.
May the LORD help us, as we move through tough times. May the lessons we learn, and the comfort we receive from God, be a source of inspiration, and a source of a blessing, to the anyone and everyone in need.
