Whichever way one wishes to look at life, I personally think, it is beautiful. Does this mean our lives are without any problems? Certainly not dear friends. Despite the problems, life that we have is beautiful. Someone may ask, “How can one think so about life?” Well, if we see life, as the Bible portrays it, then we will certainly say so.
The good Old Book, the written Word of God tells us that, life that we have, is a gift from God. When it is a gift from the God Almighty, the LORD Jesus Christ, then it has to be good…it will be good…it is good.
– “3 Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, The fruit of the womb is a reward.” – Psalm 127:3
– “5 When Esau looked up and saw the women and children, he asked, “Who are these with you?” Jacob answered, “These are the children God has graciously given your servant.” – Genesis 33:5
– “9 Joseph said to his father, “They are the sons God has given me in this place.” So Jacob said, “Please bring them to me, that I may bless them.” – Genesis 48:9
Life that we possess is a gift from God. The Bible makes it amply clear, whatever the modern man, including the modern theologians may say. If this life is gifted to us by God, then we ought to cherish it, and tend it with all our heart. Not just that, but, we have to also nurture it to fruitfulness. The tending of our life with all our heart; and the nurturing of it to fruitfulness is possible, only when we intentionally and purposefully invest our thoughts and our efforts, with single-minded focus, all the days of our lives, towards it.
– “12 Now if anyone builds on this foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, 13 each one’s work will become clear; for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one’s work, of what sort it is. 14 If anyone’s work which he has built on it endures, he will receive a reward. 15 If anyone’s work is burned, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire.” – 1 Corinthians 3:12-15
Life is beautiful, despite all its storms and struggles. If we are plagued by struggles and failures in our lives, then we ought to run to God, and seek His face to help us with all our storms, struggles and failures. He will surely help us steady our lives, and be fruitful for His glory.
– “1 God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble. 2 Therefore we will not fear, Even though the earth be removed, And though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; 3 Though its waters roar and be troubled, Though the mountains shake with its swelling. Selah” – Psalm 46:1-3
– “1 Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, 2 looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.” – Hebrews 12:1-2
Dear brothers and sisters, let us always be grateful and thankful to the LORD Jesus for the life that we have. Many who were born on the same day as we are born, are no more alive today. They have no life anymore. Some of those lives, sadly may have ended in eternal tragedy…lost for eternity. Since we have a life given to us by our Creator; and we also have the life given to us by our Redeemer – A DOUBLE LIFE – we to be always thankful and grateful to the LORD, and work towards being fruitful for the LORD Jesus.
– “Life is wonderful, yes! It’s wonderful, Life is wonderful now to me, I let Jesus in, He changed everything, Life is wonderful now, Since His blessing came into my heart, Joy unspeakable fills every part, And I want to live for my Lord, Life is wonderful now.” – An old Sunday School chorus
Life is beautiful! Yes it is wonderful!! HalleluYah!!!
"Every day without exception - is a gift from God, entrusted to us to use for His glory."
