April 23, 2022Life in itself is a daring adventure, because it is filled with all kinds of issues. A perfectly peaceful day, all of a sudden, and out of the blue, can turn into a raging storm. Such is the unpredictable was of life…more so the modern life.
It wouldn’t be merely wishful thinking, if one were to desire peace and calm. It is but natural. The more the days pass by, the more our yearning for peace and calm. Somehow, the world is unable to offer any solution. We seem to be going down the hill. It is no exaggeration. It is all too obvious.
The peace and calm to our storms are found only in the LORD Jesus. He not only calmed the storm, but is also the Prince of peace. He alone can help us. He alone will help us.
Let us never hesitate to run to our LORD, whatever may be our storms. He know it well. He know us well. He alone knows how to calm it, and how to solve it.* No wonder the Bible says, *”10 Be still, and know that I am God…” – Psalms 46:10.
