We tend to take our life, many times, for granted. Not that we are ungrateful to God for His mercy and grace, but we don’t think about it, as often as we ought to, and thank God for the same. When we look at life itself, it is fragile, and can vanish like vapour, for no reason at all. Therefore, it becomes all the more important that we be grateful and thankful to God.
The Word of God says in Psalms 150:6 – “6 Let everything that has breath praise the LORD. HalleluYah!”
The words are simple, yet profound. It places tremendous amount of significance on the fact of being alive. It goes on to tell us, that being alive is the single most important thing. From it, everything else proceeds. Therefore, we should be praising and thanking God every moment of our lives.
So why wait? Let us praise the LORD, for keeping us alive! HalleluYah!
"As a matter of fact, God isn’t asking you to be thankful. He’s asking you to give thanks. There’s a big difference. One response involves emotions, the other your choices, your decisions about a situation, your intent, your step of faith."
