Being a mother is both a pain and a joy. Sounds impossible? That is exactly who a mother is – an impossibility made possible by God.
For a mother, the pain is literal and a emotion too. The child birth is a painful process. The mother goes through hell, but doesn’t show it, nor speak about it.
She sees the children share her body, yet she doesn’t claim much for herself from them. She just basks in the glow as they grow. Simple needs of love and laughter suffice her. Isn’t that true?
She sees her new-born child, and the overwhelming joy that comes from that power, which only a woman has, gives her immense joy. Then she sees her bundle of joy growing up, and that fills her with more joy.
As the child grows, she sees the progressive strides of her little one, and takes great joy and pride.
A mother can never be thanked enough. A mother is precious, priceless and an impossibility in flesh and blood!
Thank you, all you dear mothers on this special day. It is a very small token of appreciation for all that you do, and all that you are! May the LORD bless you all.
"10 Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies. 28 Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her. 29 Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all."
