We are in the last week of the year. In a few days, we will enter into the new year. It is a good time to look back, and think about all that the LORD had done for us. But for the LORD, His grace and His mercy, we would wouldn’t have made it so far. Therefore it is but good for us to reflect.
It would be worth the effort, to pen all that had happened in the year 2022. Let us list the Blessings, the Lessons and the Mistakes of the year, and the Resolutions for the coming year.
The Word of God encourages us to…
“16 Rejoice always,
17 pray without ceasing,
18 in everything give thanks;
for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” – 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18.
Let us begin the list.
"A season of reflection and gratefulness for life in its various forms, trials, and triumphs. To me, the season of Thanksgiving is the perfect and logical precursor to the season of Christmas — of thankfulness and gratitude for the love of a Holy God that took the human form of a baby in a manger."
