There are times in life where one feels weak and without any hope. Times where nothing seems to work, and everything appears to be going against. To top it, there may not be any visible help coming our way. In other words, it is our walk through the wilderness. Lonely, scary, helpless, and weak. What do we do at such times?
The best way is to turn to the Word God! The LORD will have a word for us. He will speak His heart, and we will be comforted. The Word of God tells us where our help can come from – the LORD! It also gives us the hope, that is available only in the LORD!
Let us read a few passages from Joshua 1:18, Psalms 27:1, Isaiah 40:29-31, Psalms 73:26 and see for ourselves the help, the comfort and the hope that comes only from the LORD.
The Word of God says – “Be strong and of a good courage. The LORD [is] my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD [is] the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? He giveth power to the faint; and to [them that have] no might he increaseth strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: but they that wait upon the LORD shall renew [their] strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; [and] they shall walk, and not faint. My flesh and my heart faileth: [but] God [is] the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever.”
Have a blessed day, and a great week.
"The soul that loves God has its rest in God and in God alone. In all the paths that men walk in the world, they do not attain peace until they draw [near] to hope in God."
