Diet, discipline and exercise are some of the critical keys to a healthy life. Same also applies to our spiritual health. There are five things that we have to do, consistently and committedly, for “healthy” spiritual results, in our lives. The spiritual “Diet, Discipline, and Exercise” will transform us, and will turn us into channels of blessing, in the hands of God, which in turn, will bless our personal lives also.
Here are those five spiritual principles, to follow faithfully, all the days of our lives.
– READ the Bible regularly, on a personal level.
– PRAY regularly, and as often as possible.
– ATTEND a sound Bible believing Church regularly.
– Have a proper and meaningful FELLOWSHIP, with faithful fellow followers of, Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
– Learn to GIVE liberally to God, His work, and to the poor and the needy.
The above principles are not some magic charms, that will bring blessings, health, and prosperity to us. The practice of the above principles, is an indicative gesture from our side, to demonstrate in a tangible way, that we wish to learn about God, depend upon Him and to be an instrument in His hand. Such an excercise will help us immensely to trust and obey God.
Please do not neglect, the above five principles of spiritual growth and maturity. Never neglect God in all situations of our life. Come what may, hold in to God. He will bring you out, shining like the sun.
