HAVE YOU NOT KNOWN? HAVE YOU NOT HEARD?

“Knowing God” is the most important of all pursuits a Christian has. The more we know about God, the better it is for us and our living. Life is not only complex, but is also complicated. The fall of man has messed things up, and we have no remedy to rectify it. Therefore, “Knowing God” becomes an absolute essential for us.

The LORD God Almighty is beautifully portrayed by prophet Isaiah in Isaiah 40:28-31: 28 Have you not known? Have you not heard?
The everlasting God, the LORD, The Creator of the ends of the earth,
Neither faints nor is weary.
His understanding is unsearchable.

29 He gives power to the weak,
And to those who have no might He increases strength.

30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, And the young men shall utterly fall,
31 But those who wait on the LORD Shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
They shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint.

How wonderful it is to know that the Everlasting God and the Creator of everything, never faints and never gets weary. His understanding is unsearchable. How comforting to know it. Not just that, He gives power to the weak Everyone including the ‘strong young people’ will fail and fall. However, those who wait upon the LORD will rise up like an eagle and soar over all that is troubling them.

Therefore, LET US LEARN TO WAIT UPON the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY, who is our CREATOR…the EVERLASTING GOD.
