IN THE FINAL EQUATION…

Accountability, justice and judgment are like broken cisterns in the fallen world. Everyone talks about it, but still accountability, justice and fairness eludes us. The rottenness has penetrated so far deep that, man has begun to believe that those who are violent, unjust and unethical are  prospering more than those, who choose to walk the path of fairness, equality, justice and accountability. In fact, everything seems to favour the vile, the violent and the unjust. 

A quick analysis tells us that, the quick tongue, and the sharp minds, always seems to hold the sway over the “progress” in life. Also, they seem to get away with anything and everything. Such is the power of this deadly combination of a quick and eloquent tongue, and a sharp mind. 

The LORD who sees everything, will weigh the hearts, its intentions, and its motives. Nothing will escape His gaze, and none can hoodwink Him. Motives do matter to God, more than the masterful use of tongue, in manipulating and misleading people. Man may not know it. Man may not realise it. Even if they know and realise it, they may not be able to do anything, to counter the manipulations. They may be weak. They may be helpless. Beware o man, those who seek accountability and justice are not hopeless. Let us not forget that, all what we ever do, will be judged by God, even though it may escape the human agencies, that are to dispense justice.

The God of all creation will surely call each of us to account. When we stand before the LORD God Almighty, our tongues will speak the truth on their own. No force on earth or from anywhere else, cannot stop our tongues from speaking the truth, and nothing but the whole truth.

1- EVERY TONGUE WILL CONFESS THAT JESUS IS THE LORD!
People deny that there is only one way to salvation. They may employ all kinds of logic, analysis and reasoning in support of their thinking. It may prevail, and may even may succeed in convincing people into believing it to be the truth. It doesn’t matter. The truth still remains the truth, no matter the cleverness and the intelligence of man.
– “9 Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, 11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” – Philippians 2:9-11

2- EVERY WORD THAT WE SPEAK WILL BE TAKEN INTO ACCOUNT
The words we speak, will speak in the presence of the LORD God Almighty, as a testimony to all what we have spoken, while on earth. What we speak is a reflection of what we think. What we think is a reflection of what is deep within hearts, unseen by anyone, and unknown to anyone. Beware the day, when our words will speak against us.
– “34 Brood of vipers! How can you, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. 35 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good things, and an evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth evil things. 36 But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment. 37 For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.” – Matthew 12:34-37

3- OUR WORDS AND OUR WORKS WILL BE PUT TO THE FIERY TEST
The building blocks of our lives are the words we speak, and the works we do. They reflect our minds, our hearts, and our character. This building that we are building, as we walk on this journey called life, will one fine day, be put to proper test. The LORD God Almighty, will test all what we have built, with all what He had graciously and generously given to us – time, talents, health, intelligence and opportunities. They are given with a specific purpose, for the greater good of everyone, including us. They are given, not just to selfishly and greedily consume upon ourselves, and our family. Our words and our works, will speak about what we have done, with all what was entrusted to our care. They don’t lie, and we can’t defend, justify, explain away, or manipulate the final outcome to our favour. Our lives will come unravelled right in front of our eyes. The truth will be revealed publicly.
– “12 Now if anyone builds on this foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, 13 each one’s work will become clear; for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one’s work, of what sort it is. 14 If anyone’s work which he has built on it endures, he will receive a reward. 15 If anyone’s work is burned, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire.” – 1 Corinthians 3:12-15

4- THE CONCLUSION OF THE MATTER
Before that day comes, let us seek the LORD to help us live a life, that is pleasing to Him. Let us desire a life that will bear fruit for the glory of our LORD, for the furtherance of His kingdom, and for the blessing of His people. In doing so with integrity, is our wholesome blessing, and our true progress. 
– “11 The words of the wise are like goads, and the words of scholars are like well-driven nails, given by one Shepherd. 12 And further, my son, be admonished by these. Of making many books there is no end, and much study is wearisome to the flesh. 13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God and keep His commandments, For this is man’s all. 14 For God will bring every work into judgment, Including every secret thing, Whether good or evil.” – Ecclesiastes 12:11-14

Even so the LORD help us.
