Integrity is something that is visible to everyone around. It cannot be hidden. Having said that, it is also the most compromised trait. Because to keep up your integrity is the most difficult of all things.
Integrity is the other side of truth. To uphold integrity, is to uphold truth. If one is truthful with themselves, and uphold it uncompromisingly, they will value and uphold integrity unflinchingly.
Integrity is standing for truth, no matter the cost and the consequences. For it is the individual’s honour, which is at stake. Far more than that, the honour of our LORD and Redeemer is at stake.
One should never hesitate to sacrifice anything, to keep up the flag of integrity intact. We would do so, only when we cherish who we are, and wish to stand spotless on the day we face our Master.
“”That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;”” – Phi 2:15
