The LORD, as we understand from the Bible, is fair and just. The Word of God says that the LORD hates injustice, manipulation and unfairness in our thoughts, words and deeds – “15 He who justifies the wicked, and he who condemns the just, Both of them alike are an abomination to the LORD.” – Proverbs 17:15
This is what YAHWEH, the LORD of the law, gives as His instructions to the people of God – “7 Keep yourself far from a false matter; do not kill the innocent and righteous. For I will not justify the wicked. 8 And you shall take no bribe, for a bribe blinds the discerning and perverts the words of the righteous. 9 “Also you shall not oppress a stranger, for you know the heart of a stranger, because you were strangers in the land of Egypt.” – Exodus 23:7.
The LORD hates evil and evil approaches to justice and fairness. He expects the same from us, as His disciples and His children. The book of proverbs has plenty of verses which speak the heart of our LORD clearly – “10 Diverse weights and diverse measures, They are both alike, an abomination to the LORD. 11 Even a child is known by his deeds, Whether what he does is pure and right.” – Proverbs 20:10-11
Now about us. Where do we stand personally and as the children of God, the Church. May the LORD help us.
"7 Will the LORD be pleased with thousands of rams, Ten thousand rivers of oil? Shall I give my firstborn for my transgression, The fruit of my body for the sin of my soul? 8 He has shown you, O man, what is good; And what does the LORD require of you But to do justly, To love mercy, And to walk humbly with your God?"
