There appears a close connection with living our faith, tribulation and our growth.
If we truly live for God as He wants us, the world will hate us. “”If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.”” [Jn 15:18-19]
If the world doesn’t hate us, then there is something amiss about our faith and witness. Either we have hid the lamp under the bushel, or the salt has lost its savour. [Mt. 5:13-16]
Trials are the true test for a Christian. Trials test our faith. It strengthens us spiritually. They glorify God, and are used by God for greater purposes.
Anyway remember God will never leave us alone to fend for ourselves. He is always with us, no matter what. “”…now thus saith the Lord that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine. When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. For I am the Lord thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour…”” [Isa 43:1-3]
Trust God and continue on the path that the LORD is leading. That is the best path for us.
