The entire Bible is a witness, to who, the LORD God Almighty is. This knowledge of who God is, will help us to know the LORD more fully, and much deeper. Such knowledge should prompt us, to be in awe and wonder of YAHWEH, the God of all creation.* Yes, the knowledge that is found in the Bible about God, is not all that He actually is. *What is written is there, is what we need; and that should do well, for us to be led, to worship Him, with all our heart, mind and soul.
The book of Revelation, chapter 5, verses 11-14 have some of the most wonderful verses, we can ever read, in the Bible.
– “11 Then I looked, and I heard the voice of many angels around the throne, the living creatures, and the elders; and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands, 12 saying with a loud voice: “Worthy is the Lamb who was slain To receive power and riches and wisdom, And strength and honour and glory and blessing!”
– “13 And every creature which is in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, I heard saying: “Blessing and honour and glory and power Be to Him who sits on the throne, And to the Lamb, forever and ever!”
– “14 Then the four living creatures said, “Amen!” And the twenty-four elders fell down and worshiped Him who lives forever and ever.” – Revelation 5:11-14
Oh what a sight it is! Thousands and thousands of living creatures; the angelic beings; the elders; every creature in heaven, on earth, and under the earth; the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders – all with one voice, praising and worshiping the LORD!!! Oh what a glorious sight that is!!! Wouldn’t we want to be a part of such a group I would love to be part of such a group? Who would not? How about you?
This is my prayer, as someone who is rescued, redeemed, and being restored by our gracious and merciful God. If it is good, make it yours too. O LORD my God, my Redeemer, my Master, I long to be among those, who worship You, with all their heart, mind and soul. I wish for nothing else. For nothing else is worth pursuing. Please grant me this, my desire.
"It is [a] matter of joy to all the world, to see that God deals with men in grace and mercy through the Redeemer. He governs the world, not merely as a Creator, but as our Saviour. The harps were instruments of praise; the vials were full of odours, or incense, which signify the prayers of the saints: prayer and praise should always go together. Christ has redeemed his people from the bondage of sin, guilt, and Satan. He has not only purchased liberty for them, but the highest honour and preferment; he made them kings and priests; kings, to rule over their own spirits, and to overcome the world, and the evil one; and he makes them priests; giving them access to himself, and liberty to offer up spiritual sacrifices. What words can more fully declare that Christ is, and ought to be worshipped, equally with the Father, by all creatures, to all eternity!"
