The Bible is given for our Edification, our Encouragement, our Enlightenment and our Empowerment. The Bible will surely Provide for all our spiritual, moral and intellectual needs, Protect us from all harm and danger, and Purify us from all impurities to make us clean, as the children of God, and the disciples of the LORD Jesus Christ. This is what one can gather from reading the Bible, especially certain verses speaking specifically about the Word of God.
– “16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.” – 2 Timothy 3:16-17
– “103 How sweet are Your words to my taste, Sweeter than honey to my mouth! 104 Through Your precepts I get understanding; Therefore I hate every false way.”* – Psalm 119:103
– “105 Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path.” – Psalm 119:105
– “2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD, And in His law he meditates day and night. 3 He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper.” – Psalm 1:2-3
– “9 How can a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed according to Your word…11 Your word I have hidden in my heart, That I might not sin against You.” – Psalm 119:9,11
– “8 This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.” – Joshua 1:8
– “17…the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God;” – Ephesians 6:17b
– “12 For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” – Hebrews 4:12

The Bible will…
1- PROVIDE FOR ALL OUR NEEDS
– The Bible will PROVIDE us for all our spiritual, moral and intellectual needs. It will provide us with all the knowledge and wisdom that is required for our life as a Christian.
2- PROTECT US FROM ALL HARM AND DANGER
The Bible will PROTECT us from every harm and danger – be it our sinful nature, or from the evil one. It will throw light on our path, and make visible all that is invisible.
3- PURIFY US FROM ALL IMPURITIES TO MAKE US CLEAN
The Bible will PURIFY us from the evil and sinful nature that we have in us. It will help us to be cleansed from inside out. Without the help of the Bible we cannot see the sin in us, nor in the world
Bible is no ordinary book. Bible is the written Word of God. It is given to us by God Himself. It is written by people who were inspired by God Himself. It is a Book that has God as its originator, and it empowers all who read it and meditate upon it night and day.
– “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God…the Bible comes from God and not man. It is a God-inspired book, breathed out from God Himself.” – David Guzik
Some in the boat, and increasing in these last days, count Bible to be a good book, buy nothing more than that. Sadly, some of them claim themselves to be Christians. They are just like the Pharisees and Sadducees of the LORD Jesus’ time. They knew the Scriptures, but they were completely blind.
– “It is fashionable in some academic circles to exercise scholarly criticism of the Bible. In so doing, scholars place themselves above the Bible and seek to correct it. If indeed the Bible is the Word of God, nothing could be more arrogant. It is God who corrects us; we don’t correct Him. We do not stand over God but under Him.” – R. C. Sproul
Beware the counterfeit Christianity and the agents of Anti-Christ, who will make every effort to dilute the Word of God and distort it, so that, we would get disturbed and get distracted from faithfully following the LORD Jesus Christ.
– “In 2005 the London Times reported that a new “teaching document” issued by the Roman Catholic bishops of England, Wales and Scotland warns that Catholics should not take the Bible literally — that it’s not infallible. “We should not expect to find in Scripture full scientific accuracy or complete historical precision,” they say in the booklet, The Gift of Scripture. So what sorts of things aren’t accurate? Creation, for one. Genesis, they note, has two different, and sometimes conflicting, creation stories and cannot be considered “historical.” Rather, the bishops say, it simply contains “historical traces.” – Enduring Word Commentary
My dear brothers and sisters, whatever the world may say; whatever the so called “Bible scholars” may say; whatever the “church” may say – let us always remember that, the Bible is the written Word of God. It has come to us because God wanted it to be written it down for the edification, enlightenment, encouragement and empowerment of all who are called out of darkness into His marvellous light. May we always remember this, and walk by it. May we be found to be faithful children of God. Even so, the LORD help us.
"...the Bible’s claim to be Holy Scripture has been tested and proven through the centuries. Every generation gives rise to those who really believe they will put the last nails in the coffin that will bury the Bible – yet it never, never works. The Bible outlives and outworks and out-influences all of its critics. It is an anvil that has worn out many, many hammers...there is no equal to the Bible and there never will be. The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our Lord stands forever. What can compare to the Bible? What is the chaff to the wheat?...There is no book like it in its influence and life-changing power."
