July 30, 2022The LORD Jesus talking to His disciples in Matthew 7:21–27 says “24 “Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: 25 and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.”
The house is our life; the Rock is the LORD Jesus Christ; building upon the Rock is to obey the LORD in all that He has spoken; the rains, floods, winds and the storms are the struggles and the sufferings in life.
Therefore whoever builds his life upon the LORD Jesus Christ, who is our Rock, and obeys Him, despite all the obstacles and struggles is the house that will stand strong and firm.
What about us? Where are we I vesting our time, effort and our resources? Are we building our house upon the Rock?
