Every person on the face of the earth wants to have a good life. Everyone desires to be happy, peaceful and prosperous. This is the innermost longing of every human being. To attain this “WAY OF LIFE” man has devised many a method – some good and some bad. Sadly, even though the desire is good, but the key to such a good life is not in our hands – for we have thrown it away in the Garden of Eden, when our first parents wilfully disobeyed and rebelled against our Creator and sinned. The sin, as a natural consequence has brought in death and destruction, with no remedy in our hands – however “good” and “noble” our intentions.
The LORD God Almighty, our Creator has not abandoned us. He has graciously, mercifully and generously made it possible for us to have peace, joy and prosperity, by offering Himself as a sacrifice, in our place. The renewed “WAY OF LIFE” will lead us upwards towards God our Creator, and will completely restore us back to what God our Creator originally intended.
– “24 The way of life winds upward for the wise, That he may turn away from hell below.” – Proverbs 15:24
The man who walks this God ordained “WAY OF LIFE” will be a wise person, on his way to complete transformation through sanctification. Such a man chooses to walk the “Narrow Way” which our LORD Jesus has ordained for all who desire to follow Him, which is visible to the world in our thoughts, words and deeds.
– “The wise person, grounded in reverence for the LORD, walks a divinely appointed path that climbs ever upward, aligning life with heaven’s values. This steady ascent keeps him from the deadly plunge to Sheol, affirming the promise that obedience leads to life now and forever.” – Berean Study Bible Notes
Dear brothers and sisters, how are we doing in life? Are we walking upwards towards God? Or, are we walking deeper into the depths of death and hell? Let us desire with all our hearts to obey the LORD Jesus, and walk with Him faithfully and obediently. The LORD Jesus, who began this good work of sanctification in us, will complete it without fail…
– “6 being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ;” – Philippians 1:6
Therefore, let us not lose heart, neither get discouraged and bogged down in despair. Instead, let us continue to walk this THE WAY OF LIFE that leads us upwards towards God our Creator and our Redeemer. Even so, the LORD help us.
"Wisdom directs a person toward God, obedience, and the life He gives. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and those who receive His instruction turn from the patterns of sin that bring ruin. The upward path portrays a life increasingly shaped by righteousness and oriented toward fellowship with God. Its fullest fulfillment is found in Christ, who is Himself the way, the truth, and the life, and who leads His people to eternal life."
