THE WORD OF GOD

Nothing amazes the Christian, more than the study of God, and who He is. It is an inexhaustible study. It is the study of a finite mind, attempting to grasp and comprehend, the infinite. It is an impossibility, but worth the try. It helps us grow deeper in our knowledge of God, and stand firmer in the faith. Hence, it is worth the effort.

God, as we come to know from the Bible, is someone who can be trusted absolutely. If God says something, it will be done. King David, the Palmist says – “6 The words of the LORD are pure words, Like silver tried in a furnace of earth, Purified seven times.” – Psalms 12:6

Let us look at a few more passages from the Bible – “5 Every word of God is pure; He is a shield to those who put their trust in Him.” “8 The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart; The commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes;” “140 Your word is very pure; Therefore Your servant loves it.” – Proverbs 30:5; Psalms 19:8; Psalms 119:140. “God is a shield to those who put their trust in Him.” “His Word enlightens us.” How wonderful!!!

May the above words from the Bible encourage us to know more about the God of all creation. May they help us to gain a deeper understanding about our Redeemer. May the words of God, inspire us to trust Him with anything and everything that concerns us. HalleluYah!!!
