THERE IS A GENERATION

Life that we have is a gift of God. The talents, time, resources and opportunities that we enjoy are a gift from God. God intends that we use our talents, time, resources and time to bless others. For it is designed, that in blessing others, we are blessed. When we don’t, then the very blessing will turn into a curse, and it will destroy us.

This is precisely what is happening in the fallen world. We are on downward spiral, and human greed and sin is at the heart of it all. We want to become ‘gods,’ nay, ‘I’ wants to be ‘god.’ Proverbs 30:11-14 points out around 900 BC, a generation that is pursuing such an agenda…
“11 There is a generation that curseth their father, and doth not bless their mother.
12 There is a generation that are pure in their own eyes, and yet is not washed from their filthiness.
13 There is a generation, O how lofty are their eyes! and their eyelids are lifted up.
14 There is a generation, whose teeth are as swords, and their jaw teeth as knives, to devour the poor from off the earth, and the needy from among men.”
