‘Will’ of a person reflects the his thoughts, intentions and motives. Cambridge Dictionary defines it this way – “to talk about what someone or something is able or willing to do.” Macmillan Dictionary puts it this way – “someone’s determination to do what is necessary to achieve what they want.”
Jesus speaking with His disciples says – “40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.” – John 6:40.
This is the GOOD NEWS of GREAT JOY to all of us. Isn’t it? It sure is!!! Do we have such a joy in our lives? Wonderful, if you have it. However, a point to ponder. What are we doing with that joy? Are we sharing it with others? Do others see that joy operating in and through us? Let us THINK ABOUT IT!!!
"What good news regularly does, then, is to put a new event into an old story, point to a wonderful future hitherto out of reach, and so introduce a new period in which, instead of living a hopeless life, people are now waiting with excitement for what they know is on the way."
