WHAT DO I SEE?

Today is a very unique day. Today is the weekend, month-end and year-end – all rolled into one. 31 December also means, we have spent 364 days, and are about to spend the last day of the year.

WHAT DO WE SEE when we look back at the year that is gone by? What do we see in all the days of our lives so far? When I see myself, I clearly see the hand of God, His goodness, His grace, His mercy and His amazing love upon me and my life!

What else do I see? I see myself as a lost, helpless and hopeless sinner – this is my achievement. However, the goodness and the grace of God took hold of me, and is shaping me into the image that He sees fit.

I see the hand of God upon my personal and professional life. In all my ups and downs, the LORD had been constant and faithful. He readily extended His grace and helped me stand for Him.

If ever, I achieved anything so far, it is but the goodness and the grace of the LORD. All the failures and shortcomings are mine. I always bring them to the LORD, for grace and help. He is my only help!

I am sure, most of us fall into this category. May the LORD help us to thank Him for all He has done. May we faithfully and sincerely seek Him for help and strength, to stand in areas where we are weak and wanting. May the LORD help us.
