June 23, 2023Days and times are like seasons. They keep changing. Some days it is a very pleasant. Some days, it is not so very pleasant. Some other days, it is terrible bad weather, and it appears as though it is not going to end. Life has all the seasons in it. So enjoy the weather, whatever it may be, on any given day.
However, it is comforting to know and realise that, we are not left alone to fend for ourselves. If it were so, we would freeze to our deaths pretty soon. But for the grace and the goodness of God our Creator, we, and the rest of the world, would have been destroyed long long back.
The LORD reminds us time and again, to know, that He is with us. He wants us to trust Him, and obey all that He is asking of us. In this is our welfare, and our security.
The LORD speaking to the early Church, through Peter, says, “6 Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, 7 casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.” – 1 Peter 5:6
Therefore, let us humble ourselves before the LORD. Let us trust God to help us and guide us. Let us place all that is troubling us at the feet of the LORD. He will take care of all that is troubling us. He will take care of us. This is as sure as the sun rising in the east. Nay, much more surer than a sunrise. So be strong and take courage, the LORD will see us through.
