Here is something that I have learnt about “WORK” over these years. Hope it will be of use, especially to some young person.
Let us see what the Word of God has to speak about the subject, “ALWAYS WORK HARD” for our edification.
1- Ecclesiastes 9:10 – “Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest.”
2- Proverbs 13:4 – “The soul of the sluggard desireth, and hath nothing: but the soul of the diligent shall be made fat.”
3- Colossians 3:23 – “And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;”
4- Proverbs 14:23 – “In all labour there is profit: but the talk of the lips tendeth only to penury.”
Work is a gift of the LORD, and WHAT work we do, and HOW we do it, reflects who we actually are. Therefore, always work hard, with honesty and integrity. Let no man point a finger at you nor your work. Rather let them praise you for your work.
"What you do in your house is worth as much as if you did it up in heaven for our Lord God. We should accustom ourselves to think of our position and work as sacred and well-pleasing to God, not on account of the position and work, but on account of the word and faith from which the obedience and the work flow."
