Recently, I came across a very good quotation. I liked it because, it speaks about life. Here it is – “Being a good person is very difficult. It is like being a goal keeper. No matter how many goals you save; people remember only the goals you missed.” A beautiful illustration about the reality of life. It is so true, even though it is leaning more towards cynicism. It is honest, and gives us a good perspective about struggles, failures and people, in our lives.
Life has its fair share of ups and downs. We should not let, the ebb and flow of our lives, to drown us in it. A successful person is he, who realises he made a mistake; acknowledges it, and accepts it; picks himself up, without waiting for someone to lift him up; dusts himself up, and starts all over again, without losing any of his enthusiasm for life.
May the LORD, who called us out of darkness, into His marvellous light, be our help and strength, as we pick our pieces, and begin all over again. Let us, press toward the goal. All the very best. Have a great day, and a blessed week.
"Failing is not a disgrace unless you make it the last chapter of your book."
