Jesus tried to drill into the Pharisees that obedience to both the letter and the spirit of the law, are essential to God. But the Pharisees considered themselves very righteous. What they did not realise is the fact, that they lived merely by the letter of the law, and killed the spirit of the law…a life without its soul. What a tragedy! Some live such lives even today. Beware and take care.
