Each morning, when we wake-up, is a different day, and in all certainty, it will be different from the previous day. Some days may go well for us; some other days could go terrible. This is the general principle of life…the same for the whole world.
Now, we as Christians, “How should we look at each day?” Should we go with the general principle of the world? Or do we have some other way of approaching each day in our lives? What does the Word of God say on this matter.
Let us look at Psalm 118:24, which gives us an insight into, how we, as Christians, should be looking at each day in our lives.
– “24 This is the day the LORD has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it.” – Psalm 118:24
Every day, whether good, bad or terrible, we need to remind ourselves that, our God is always standing with us. He walks along with us, into each new day. Now when the King of kings, and the LORD of lords, walks beside us, would not that day, be the best day ever in our lives? The LORD had promised to walk with us all the days of our lives? If so, then, each day is beautiful; each day is good; each day is great and amazing! Isn’t it so? Therefore, we walk confidently into every single day, because, the LORD God Almighty is with us, and He will always be with us.
– “6 Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the LORD your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.” – Deuteronomy 31:6
– “28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.” – Romans 8:28
– “12 Though a sinner does evil a hundred times and prolongs his life, yet I know that it will be well with those who fear God, because they fear before him. 13 But it will not be well with the wicked, neither will he prolong his days like a shadow, because he does not fear before God.” – Ecclesiastes 8:12-13
May the LORD bless our day, and make us a blessing to all whom we meet. May we be an instrument of inspiration, in the hands of our LORD, that all who are down, would find strength and encouragement, in the LORD, who is strengthening us, in all our struggles. May the LORD be glorified this day,in our lives. Even so, the LORD help us.
"To give thanks to God, even for the smallest things, is to remind ourselves of the primary relationship in our lives. What we have comes from God. What we share belongs to God. What we fear, what overwhelms us, can be given to God."
