Obedience is one of the foundational pillars of our faith. Where there is no obedience, there is disobedience. Disobedience is another name for rebellion. Rebellion is the root of all evil.
Obedience doesn’t give room for discussion and disagreement. Obedience requires us to simply do it, and do it the way it was instructed to be done. No room for error, and certainly no scope for own decisions.
No wonder the Bible says, “”Has the Lord as great a delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obedience to the voice of the Lord?
Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice,
And to heed [is better] than the fat of rams….”” 1 Sam 15:22-23]
When the LORD calls you for work, just say, “”Speak, Lord; for thy servant heareth.”” [1 Sam 3:9]
Just obey!
