FAITH, STRENGTH AND LOVE

The Bible is our sure source of help, comfort and strength. It speaks to us. It strengthens us. It gives us a sense of direction in dark times. It is our anchor that holds us secure.

Paul writing to the Corinthian church writes this – “13 Watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong. 14 Let all that you do be done with love.” – 1 Corinthians 16:13-14. It has a purpose to it. It is to tell the Christians, that we will encounter problems and troubles in life. But, we should not lose heart nor abandon our faith in the LORD.

Let us meditate on this verse.

WATCH – “Being ALERT and AWAKE to the situation that we are in.”

STAND FAST in the FAITH – “Let us place our faith in the LORD, who is our HOPE, HELP and STRENGTH.”

BE BRAVE, BE STRONG – “RESOLVING in our mind to FACE the situation with COURAGE and STRENGTH.”

LET ALL that YOU DO BE DONE WITH LOVE – “ANYTHING and EVERYTHING that we DO, SHOULD be done OUT OF LOVE. This love is the love, with which our LORD loved us.”
